Stockton Black Family Day (Stockton BFD) is dedicated to promoting these Community Principles: Faith, Education, Health, Respect and Unity, while celebrating African American culture and its rich traditions through music, art, ethnic food and most importantly, family.


Celebrating our 49th year, Stockton BFD is slated to take place on the weekend of Labor Day, at the Weber Point Event Center in downtown Stockton. To learn more and see an information video, click here.

In addition to all the other events at Stockton BFD (music, food, vendors, etc.), for the first time, we're excited to host one of the leading community development speakers, business/nonprofit strategists, and grant procurement experts in the U.S.  

Sherita's session will be a "must attend" forum if you want to gain funding opportunities and capacity building strategies that will aid with business development, job creation, and community and economic development; while expanding your footprint to national and international borders.
